(1): Chantal POIRIER / Craig BUNTIN (CAN), (2): Valerie MARCOUX / Bruno MARCOTTE (CAN),
Marcoux/Buntin teamed up in 2002 and won the first international competition they entered, the 2002 Nebelhorn
Trophy, after skating together just for a couple of weeks. The couple changed coaches in spring 2003 and moved
from Paul Wirtz's group to Richard Gauthier's group in Montreal. They almost quit skating following this move due
to financial problems and due to difficulties adapting to their new coaching and living situation. With the support of
their new coaching team, they overcame these problems to win the 2004 National title.
Their Free Skating music has been especially arranged for them by the composer.
