Singapore's Changi airport will install hundreds of surveillance cameras to scrutinise passenger activity around the clock.

The cameras will also be used to spot unattended luggage and monitor other security threats.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued a tender last week calling for suppliers to submit proposals to install more than 400 cameras at Changi.
