Testimonials

"LAMP offers content producers the chance to build a comprehensive understanding of the practice and theory of cross media production. LAMP is a development opportunity you can't afford to miss."
Frances Green - National Training Advisor, New Media & Digital Services. Australian Broadcasting Corporation

"I was a speaker at the LAMP orientation day in September 05. LAMP prompted me to think about my own cross-media productions in new ways. A project I am currently pitching has emerging media components and the LAMP event helped me clarify many of the new possibilities opening up"
Martin Brown - Film Producer (Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet)

"Technology moves very quickly, and it's hard for companies in the entertainment space to keep up and make sense of it when they need to answer to a bottom line in the marketplace. An environment like the AFI Digital Content Lab and LAMP provides a crucial content-centric environment and resources for companies to explore what kind of entertainment programming the market will expect them to deliver 12-24 months out."
Marcia Zellers - Director, American Film Institute, Digital Content Lab

“LAMP is a unique offering within the creative and media industries of Australia. It gives participants the opportunity to create best-of-breed solutions that work with the converging technology platforms in the media, entertainment and gaming industries. Participation in LAMP is perhaps one the most effective ways to become part of a world class creative cluster.”
Tony Surtees - Director, Santa Clara Group

"The LAMP initiative provides a rare opportunity for creative people to leverage broad experience from the broadcast, new media, telecommunications and IT sectors in an intense week of guidence, learning, inspiration, creativity, hard work and fun, while developing new concepts in advanced media that hopefully generate new business opportunities. It was a privilege to be asked to participate, review and contribute in this environment."
