Materials: White Sayelle or acrylic 4 ply yarn, Size F or 5 aluminum crochet hook, stuffing, small amounts of blue & pink yarn for features, 12 inches pastel ribbon for bow
Body: Starting at bottom, ch 2. Rnd 1: make 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (do not join but mark ends of rounds). Rnd 2: Make 2 sc in each sc in round. Rnd 3: Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st around (18 sc). Rnd 4: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next st, around (24). Rnd 5: Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next st around. Rnd 6: Inc 3 sc evenly spaced in round (33 sc).
Rnd 7-15: Work even on 33 sts. Rnd 16: Dec in next 2 st, sc in next 2 st, around. Cont decreasing as in round 16, stuffing before hole gets too small (stuff very firmly so bunny will hold shape after washing). Sew hole.
Head: Ch 2. Rnd 1: Make 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (do not join, mark rounds). Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. Rnd 3: Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, around. Rnd 4: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, around.
Rnd 5-10: Work even on 24 sts. Rnd 11: Dec in next 2 st, sc in next st, around. Cont decreasing as in rnd 11, stuffing head firmly before hole gets too small. Sew head to top center of body.
Ears (make 2): Ch 11. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch to end. make 3 sc in end ch. Going down other side of starting ch, sc in each st to end. Ch 1, turn. Row 2: Sc in next 4 sc. Hdc in next 2 sc, dc in next 4 sc, 2 dc in next sc, dc in next 4 sc, hdc in next 2 sc, sc in last 4 sc. Cut yarn, leaving length of yarn for sewing to top center of head. Ears will cup slightly forward at top.
Ears and Mouth: Separate 4 ply yarn into 2 ply. Embroider eyes and mouth. Tie a ribbon around the neck & tie bow in front.
Feet: Use smallest ring of Susan Bates pom pom maker, and using about 3 yards for each foot, make 4 feet. Trim and fluff. Sew 2 in place for arms, sew 2 near bottom, being careful to see that bunny will sit up. Don't sew pom pom feet too low on body.
Tail: Use next larger ring of pom pom maker. Trim and fluff. Sew to lower back, making sure bunny will sit up.
