June 9th, 2006: We've updated the webpage with a new section called "Enemy droids".

May 31st, 2006: I know you are all waiting for the demo but trust me, so are we... but the demo is growing and we're not far off now from being finished. In the meanwhile, we've added a new page called New Horizon Lore.

We've also affiliated with Rockman MeTropolis.

May 21st, 2006: We're sad to say that we still have a little more to do on the demo before we are ready to upload it for all of you to see. Developing the GBA API (Game Engine) is really very hard to do, something that programmers don't have to care about when programming games for a PC since there are already many API's available for PC game development. We don't have that much left to do on the New Horizon demo. We just need a little more time.

We've added a Prologue page to the Fiction Section.

May 5th, 2006: Our Megaman New Horizon demo is... almost complete. We calculated that we'd be done with the last part of "game logic" today, but unfortunately we calculated wrong. Almost everything is complete though, except that we haven't added any sprite objects to the stage yet. We are currently finishing implementing the complete movement of X, (his state machine so to speak). When that is done, we'll let all staff members play the demo without any enemies (sprite objects) included. We should be able to finish adding all sprite objects (and their movements) in a few days though.

So we had a choice of either releasing the demo today, incomplete as it is, or wait a few more days and show it to you then. We discussed this of course and decided that even if we really want to show you the demo right away, we believe it would be better to finish it first... We're very sorry for the delay though, so please be patient a little longer and stay tuned.

April 28th, 2006: This is one of our last updates before our demo is released, which we approximate to happen on Friday next week. We've added a few more screenshots and concept art of Alouette, but most importantly we've added a new section called "New Horizon Fiction". Regarding the demo, we are currently finishing "collision handling" with objects and backgrounds, and we will start implementing "game logic" functionality within 24 hours.

Adam (Heat Man) was kind enough to agree to affiliate with us from his Atomic-Fire webpage, and we're very happy about that.

Regarding our Game Engine, a more professional term for it would be Application Programming Interface (API). Once our Game Engine/API is finished then we will only be reusing its methods for future stages, which will make programming a very simple thing. Each new stage thereafter will probably only take us a few days to program, if not less. Therefore, the completion of each stage will be solely dependent on how fast we can create graphics (backgrounds, sprites and cinemas) for that stage and how fast we can convert it into a proper amount of 8x8 tiles. Generally, when you develop a computer game then API's are already available. In case of the GBA, API's aren't exactly that common. However, we also wanted to develop our own API; hence, the Game Engine is being developed.

April 21st, 2006: We still need a few more days before our new demo can be released. In the meanwhile, we've added a picture of Hubart to the "Concept art" section. We also added four more screenshots to the "Elysium screenshots" section.

April 14th, 2006: Welcome to "Mega Man - New Horizon". Most of us have been working on this project since June 2003, but the progress has been very slow. We all have a real life after all. Anyway, this is the first time we've shown our project and webpage to the Mega Man community. We also hoped to show you all our newest demo today, unfortunately the demo has been slightly delayed, due to some development issues. We are however doing everything in our power to complete the demo and upload it to this webpage as soon as possible.
