a variety of services to keep you informed of the very latest news and
analysis coming from Jane's information resources.
Jane's News Briefs and Jane's Defence Weekly e-mail alerts are delivered direct to your desktop and provide easy and direct access via links to full articles for subscribers and janes.com extracts for registered users. Both services are free of charge.
These e-mail alerts are for registered users. Complete the registration form when prompted, or log in with your janes.com username and password.
Jane's subject-based e-mail alerts are available to those subscribed to Jane's Defence Magazine Library, Jane's Security Library, Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre, Jane's Police Review, and Jane's Defence Forecasts. The subject matter of these alerts is determined by you. You can select from a number of subject areas that most interest you, and Jane's will deliver those hand-selected alerts direct to your desktop on a daily and weekly basis.
Jane's News Briefs
This weekly service provides headlines and
abstracts, as well as links through to live stories on janes.com. Jane's
News Briefs provides a quick and easy summary of the news information
being published by Jane's. Weekly news deliveries are grouped into subject
areas of general defence, air, land and naval forces, transport, security
and law enforcement. Choose as many as you would like receive.

Jane's
Defence Weekly e-mail alerts
Now you can receive alerts
direct from the world renown Jane's Defence Weekly. Delivered to your
desktop as soon as new stories are posted onto Jane's Defence Weekly's
web site. Typically stories are posted live two to three times a week,
giving you an immediate heads-up to critical military and defence industry
issues.
This free service will be delivered in HTML providing links on the e-mail
which will be able to take you directly through to the site and the
new stories.
Subscribers to Jane's Defence Weekly online will be able to access the
full stories as well as being able to browse and search the full archive
of previously posted stories.
Please note, non-subscribers to Jane's Defence Weekly will not be able
to access the full premium information service for which a subscription
is required.

Subject-Based E-Mail Alerts
If you currently subscribe to Jane's Defence Magazine Library, Jane's Security Library, Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre, Jane's Police Review, and/or Jane's Defence Forecasts you are entitled to receive daily and weekly news/analysis alerts as part of your subscription.
Jane's will deliver up to ten (10) different subject-based alerts across the Defence Magazines Library, up to five (5) different subject-based alerts across the Security Library, two (2) different subject-based alerts across Jane's Police Review and three (3) different subject-based alerts across Jane's Defence Forecasts. Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre will be broadcasting events bulletins three (3) times a day, as well as a weekly monitor, to ensure you are kept informed of developments as they unfold.
If you currently subscribe to the aforementioned Jane's resources, simply go to My Account, click on the My Email Alerts tab, and select the subject-based e-mail alerts you want to receive.
