2005 (SOPHOMORE): Posted seven catches for 83 yards with a long catch of 28 yards against SMU … started against Clemson and Colorado and saw action in all 11 games … had a season-high two catches against Oklahoma State (11 yards).
2004 (FRESHMAN): Contributed seven receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns while seeing action in all 12 games … started against Utah and Wyoming … had a season-best three catches for 51 yards against Wyoming.
2003: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team all-district honors as a senior and was voted the team’s MVP after grabbing 44 balls for 642 yards and six touchdowns as a senior to help Austin Westlake post a 10-2 record and win the district crown … two-time all-district and All-CenTex selection … as a junior, Thomas caught 41 passes for 632 yards and seven touchdowns to help the team reach the state championship game in 5A Division II … also played basketball and ran track … played for the same high school as current teammate Chad Schroeder, and he was coached by Schroeder’s father, Ron, at Westlake.
