AT COLORADO: 2007 (Sr.)—He played in all 13 games, including the Independence Bowl, making one start (Miami-Ohio).  He was primarily used as a blocking back on offense in addition to playing special teams.  He caught two passes for 12 yards on the season (long of eight), and had one rush for minus-2 yards (credited when he had a fumble at Baylor.  On special teams, he had a solo tackle and a knockdown block.

 

2006 (Jr.)—He saw action in all 12 games, including one start (the season opener against Montana State).  He appeared in all on special teams, as he racked up four special team points on the season (all via knockdown blocks on return units), and also took 14 snaps on the field goal/PAT unit.  He had a tremendous spring, and scored the only offensive touchdown in the spring game, coming on a 5-yard reception from Bernard Jackson. 

 

2005 (Jr.-RS)—A four-year college transfer, he was not eligible to compete and used his redshirt year.  He was moved to fullback for fall practices after competing as an inside linebacker in the spring; he enrolled at CU in January and joined the team as a walk-on.  He earned the Scout Team Offense Award on two occasions, for his efforts leading up to both the New Mexico State and Miami games.

 

AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO (2003/2004; Fr./Soph.)—He lettered two times at linebacker playing under coach Charley Wade.  In 2004 he was the Mustangs’ second leading tackler with 78 tackles (48 solo), as he posted eight tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception and one fumble recovery.  He had 13 stops against Azusa Pacific10 tackles against Northern Arizona and had eight or more on five occasions.  Western New Mexico was 2-8 his sophomore season and 3-7 for his freshman campaign.

 

HIGH SCHOOL—A two-year letterman while playing linebacker, he garnered first-team all-CIF honors and first-team all-Pacific League accolades his senior season, while he was also named the league’s overall Defensive MVP.  He posted 96 total tackles (60 solo) and one interception as a senior, while he also saw limited time at fullback in goal line situations and went on to score six touchdowns on the year.  Under coach Joe Dimalante, Arcadia was 10-2 his during his senior campaign and advanced to the state quarterfinals.  He also lettered one year in track and field participating in throws.              

 

ACADEMICS—He is majoring in Integrative Physiology at Colorado (on schedule to graduate in May), as he would like to pursue a career as a chiropractor or orthopedic surgeon.  During his senior year of high school he earned the prestigious CIF Student Athlete recognition honor, having totaled a 3.78 grade point average over four years.  He was also consistently on the Principal’s Recognition List throughout his prep career.   

 

PERSONAL—Born February 2, 1985 in Culver City, Calif.  Hobbies include playing the guitar.  He lists his favorite athlete as the late Pat Tilmon.
