Big Brother contestant George Askew has voluntarily left the reality show, saying he could not deal with the prospect of being famous.
He had been telling fellow housemates he was unhappy and producers finally agreed he could go.
He is the fourth contestant to leave so far, only one of whom has been evicted.
On Monday, two new housemates were introduced but Big Brother was still beaten in the ratings by ITV1's X Factor: Battle of the Stars.
"My reason for leaving the Big Brother house is the thought of fame and how I would like to continue my private life - and fame is too much for me," said George.
When Big Brother asked George why he had entered the house in the first place, he said it was "to interact with new people and get out of my normal way of life".
"I thought it would be fun, entertaining, I've enjoyed every minute of it," he added.

George's uncle is the Duke of Sutherland and he is described as a "self-confessed mummy's boy with royal connections" on the programme's website.
"I wanted to break the stereotypical public school view," he said, "and I think I've achieved that."
Producers introduced Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, 27, and Sam Brodie, 18, to the house on Monday.
According to host Davina McCall, nail technician Sam from North Ayrshire is biologically a man but dresses as a female and will be referred to as a woman for the purposes of the show.
Their appearance followed an eventful first week that saw the departures of contestants Shahbaz Chauhdry and Dawn Blake, and the eviction of Bonnie Holt.
Ratings victory
Monday's X Factor - on ITV1 - averaged 5.5 million viewers according to overnight ratings, compared with 4.4 million who watched Big Brother.

Between 2130 and 2145 BST, there were only 100,000 viewers between the two programmes, with X Factor watched by 4.9 million and Big Brother seen by 4.8 million.
Remaining X Factor contestants include BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, ex-Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson, model Michelle Marsh and rugby player Matt Stevens.
Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh are judging the stars' singing abilities. They will also work as mentors to the celebrities, offering their expertise in the run-up to a live final on 5 June.
Other celebrities taking part include Lucy Benjamin, who starred as Lisa in EastEnders, and James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos - both famous for newspaper kiss-and-tell stories.
A group of celebrity chefs - Aldo Zilli, Paul Rankin, Ross Burden and Jean-Christophe Novelli - are also taking part.
