Why National?
Students benefit from NUHS’ 100 years of experience in educational excellence, as well as its extensive biomedical science facilities. Acupuncture and oriental medicine students also gain clinical experience in our on-campus integrative care center.

Acupuncture and oriental medicine students at National not only receive a thorough curriculum in their arts, but also learn fundamental biomedical science and modern medical diagnostics including coursework in radiology, pathology, physiology, microbiology and public health.

This backbone of western medical science is critical for today’s oriental medical physician. In fact, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has recently implemented a new biomedicine component in its certification exam.
