ESPN's Ryan Joins CBS Sports

Sam Ryan, most recently an on-air reporter for ESPN, has joined CBS Sports and WCBS-TV, the network's owned and operated affiliate in New York City, as a contributor to The NFL On CBS and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, and as weekend sports anchor and reporter for CBS 2 (WCBS).

At ESPN, Ryan was a reporter on Sunday Night Baseball telecasts, and served as a college football sideline reporter at ABC. She also served as a sideline reporter for ESPN and ESPN2's coverage of the National Hockey League playoffs in 2003, and made some appearances on ABC's Monday Night Football as a sideline reporter.

Before joining ESPN and ABC Sports, Ryan worked as a sports anchor and reporter for WABC-TV in New York.
