Jeremiah Kipp has a diverse background in film production and writing. He has been published in Fangoria, Shock Cinema, and Guerrilla Filmmaker and writes online movie reviews for Filmcritic.com and NYC theater reviews for Matinee Magazine.
Jeremiah has been writing and producing his own films since his grandfather bought him a video camera at the age of 12. Quite literally, he has written, produced, and directed more than 100 films (but most of them were in his backyard, and are now buried in a vault). Jeremiah is a founding member of The Sunday Club, a collaborative workshop of filmmakers and video artists. He has directed several short films and videos, including Near To You (available for viewing at ALWAYSi.com) and Hamlet, which have played at numerous festivals in the United States. Upcoming projects include Ophelia, The Black Cat, and The Christmas Party.
He is currently working in the Business Affairs department of New Line Cinema, handling delivery of such films as The Anniversary Party and Jason X. He was previously the Administrative Director of Film Bond International, where he coordinated the initial assessment of motion picture production, and assisted Anthony Rhulen (producer of the modern Shakespeare adaptation O, directed by Tim Blake Nelson).
As Production Associate at Rudolph & Beer, LLP, he provided assistance from option through delivery for such films as Three Seasons, Tumbleweeds, Hi-Life, and A Good Baby. Jeremiah previously served as Membership Coordinator of the Independent Feature Project. In 1996, as distribution director of Michael Blackwood Productions, Inc., he promoted the international sale and broadcast of documentaries. With Mr. Blackwood, he co-produced Ghosts of Pariser Platz for German television, and he has freelanced as an assistant director and production coordinator on several independent features and shorts.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film from New York University, having graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts with honors.
