The “Connect with Kids” community initiative, will air "The Trouble with Boys" on Wednesday, May 10th @ 7 p.m. on WYMT.
This television special focuses on child development experts' research and recent studies showing that boys are under-represented in academic achievement groups, less likely to graduate high school with academic honors, and more likely to be in trouble at school and with the law.

Now through Noon on Wednesday, April 12, school staff, parents, and students can go to the Floyd County Schools website ( and click on the ‘calendar survey’ link to make their selection for the 2006-2007 school calendar.  We are going to try to do it this way this year and there will not be a paper copy of the survey passed out at your school.


Results of this survey will be sent to the board next week for consideration at their April 24 meeting.
