I have this urgent desire to reduce the size of my friends list. So here's what I'm going to do. I know I've got a friends only journal, so some people might be reading this who want to keep reading this and would be very sad if I cut them. That may be egotistical of me to think, but to avoid people screaming and yelling and getting their feelings hurt later, I'm going to do it like this:
If you read my journal and want to keep reading it, comment. Say hi. I don't care. Let me know you saw this and want to remain listed. If I don't get a comment from you, I'm going to assume you don't give a rat's ass what I have to say, and will consider you cut-able. Doesn't necessarily mean you'll get cut, just means I reserve the right not to feel bad about it if you do.

If I ever defriend you? You can ask me why. I don't bite. Really. There's every chance it was a mistake, or confusion in my addled brain. Or a misunderstanding. Or there may be a real reason, but I'm not adverse to trying to work things out. I'm always going to assume that if you don't say anything, it wasn't a big deal. I'd much rather hear it from you. Really. Because if I find out later that someone was hurt, or offended and I didn't know? I'm going to feel like a complete and utter shit.

Upon the discovery that my sister has found online journaling, though thankfully not at live journal, I think I may have to start making things friends only. *sigh*
That means that if you're not on my friends list, but you still want to partake in my boring life, you'll have to email me. Or something.
