Swagger 0.3.5
Project Lead: J. Rhett Aultman
License: GPL
Cost: free

Swagger is a Java-Swing based client for the Jabber Instant Messenger system. The backend of Swagger is implemented with the JabberBeans class library. Swagger was the prototype application used to determine the structure for SwaggerAPI, Weatherlight's Jabber API. Swagger is a solid, lightweight client providing the basic features expected from a Jabber client. Its rebranding license also makes it an excellent choice when considering Jabber clients for commercial purposes.

JabberBots PR_1
Project Lead: J. Rhett Aultman
License: proprietary
Cost: N/A

JabberBots is a new application for the Jabber Instant Messaging system. Unlike all other Jabber-based products, JabberBots is not an instant messaging client. JabberBots is an engine for running automated services ("Bots") over the Jabber network and an open standard for the development of such automated services. Such services can take on a myriad of forms, from simple automated response systems to full-fledged applications with large amounts of business logic. Weatherlight Technologies is committed to the developing technology of Jabber as a middleware, and this project will strive to be an early adopter of all Jabber-as-middleware technologies.

SwaggerAPI Level 1, RC0
Project Lead: J. Rhett Aultman
License:
Cost: free, $300

SwaggerAPI is a development framework designed to facilitate the easy development of Jabber instant messaging client software. SwaggerAPI handles all the necessary aspects of managing the Jabber session, leaving application programmers free to focus on application logic. SwaggerAPI's distribution is being tightly restricted while certain legal issues are resolved, so interested parties should contact Weatherlight Technologies to request a license. In general, SwaggerAPI is free to private developers, non-profit groups, and educational facilities, but must be licensed at a cost of $300 for commercial use.

WDCG 1.0.1
Project Lead: J. Rhett Aultman
License: GPL
Cost: free

The Weatherlight Dynamic Content Generator is a Perl CGI script designed to allow for the controlled injection of dynamic content into an HTML document. The dynamic content generator is extensible, allowing any external program meeting a very minor specification to have its output easily inserted into the website. The WDCG is a useful tool for producing effects similar to SSI, and also serves as a good starting point for developing more complex web-based applications.
