The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation utilizes the resources and membership of the Television Academy to develop and sponsor educational and archival programs.
The Foundation address a variety of issues including career guidance, student achievement, personal skill development, diversity and the documentation of television's evolution.
A non-profit organization, our primary focus is to use the history and artistry of television to preserve our past for posterity, and guide those who will be our future.
Archive of American Television
The Archive of American Television strives to preserve the rich history of television, and to educate and inspire future generations by videotaping interviews with the legends and pioneers of the medium.
The Archive has over 475 interviews to date, many of which you may view for free in their entirety thanks to AAT's partnership with Google® Video.
Educational Programs & Services
The Television Academy Foundation's Educational Programs & Services department extends informational opportunities to our members, the telecommunications community and community at large.
We offer programs for college students and professors, such as our renowned Television Academy Foundation Summer Internship Program, whose alums go on to work in all facets of our industry.
