AP®

Dominican Republic

The National Council on Higher Education (C.O.N.E.S.) of the Dominican Republic has developed the following AP policy.

The universities listed below will grant credit for up to three qualifying AP Exams. AP Exam grades submitted for credit must be 4 or higher. In addition, all AP Exam grades submitted should be equivalent to entry-level courses within the respective university's curriculum. Please contact the university directly to verify if a particular AP course is equivalent to that university's course offerings.

The student's official AP Grade Report, sent to the university in June by the College Board, is required for AP courses to qualify credit; the AP Grade Report must accompany the record of the student admitted to the university. The university will then submit the AP Grade Report to C.O.N.E.S. for verification.

Click on any of the universities on this list for each institution's AP policy information, including the name of a person at the institution who can assist you. To view an institution's policy in Spanish, just click the link labeled En Español at the top right of each institution's policy page.

In addition to the institutions currently listed, other international higher education institutions use AP Exam grades in the admissions process. However, these institutions may not yet have contacted the College Board.
