Reinforcing the Conservative Archetype of the "Culture War"

The pathological hubris of FOX News never ceases to amaze me. On Hannity & Colmes last night, during an oh-so-polite-and-gentlemanly-discussion, a panel composed of four rich white men, moderated by Alan Colmes, also rich and white, continued the public relations charade engineered by the Department of Justice against seven poor blacks from Miami. Sean Hannity Attacks Howard Dean For Helping New Orleans’ Ninth Ward

Alan Colmes did a pre-recorded interview with Howard Dean that was relegated to the next-to-last segment on Friday night’s Hannity & Colmes (6/2/06). His bullyboy features were set with disdain and he cut Colmes off as he tried to talk about the devastation he had seen.

Hypocritical Hannity’s Haditha Histrionics

Two segments after Sean Hannity announced his verdict months ahead of a trial in the Duke rape case, he was bemoaning the “rush to judgment” in Haditha. In the course of keeping his “open mind,” he and FOX News military analyst Bill Cowan got in several smears against Congressman John Murtha, who brought the incident to the public’s attention.

Megyn Kendall calls Duke Rape Defendant’s Prior Assault “Minor Offense”
