Lets begin.

Remember to save often.

Open your calender template. Select your magic want and select inside the top section. Add a new raster layer. Open your first tube of choice. Select a colour from your tube for your foreground. Select your flood fill tool and
flood fill this new raster layer.

Go to Effects/Plugins/Tramages/Metal Peacock:

Keep Selected.

Go back to your first tube. Add a drop shadow of Vertical: -3 Horizontal: 3 Opacity: 70 Blur: 10. Right click/Copy. Paste as a new layer. Go to Selections/Invert. Hit delete on your keyboard to get rid of the excess tube.

Selections/Select none.

Add the month you wish to your calendar. I added a gradient glow around mine - optional.

Change your background colour to a blood red (I used #C00000). Foreground NULL. I used the same font as my month. Type the letter "X" on the day you wish to mark. I added a subtle drop shadow to this X of Vertical: 1 Horizontal: 1
Opacity: 70 Blur: 2.

Merge/Merge All Visible.

Resize by going to Image/Resize/80%. Make sure Resample Using: Smart Size.

Open a 600 x 600 transparent canvas. Change your foreground to white. Select your flood fill tool and flood fill this layer white.

Copy your calendar, and paste as a new layer.

Return back to your calendar you have been working on.

Go to Effects/Xenofex/Crumple and select "Glossy Paper" under settings.

Go to Effects/Image Effects/Paper Curl using the following settings:

Right click/Copy. Return to your 600 x 600 white canvas and paste as a new layer. HIDE your white background, Merge/Merge all Visible. UNhide your white background.

Select your mover tool and move your merged calendar over (left or right)

Add the first drop shadow we used.

Open your second tube of choice and paste as a new layer. Add the same drop shadow.

Add your font of choice.

Add your © copyright info along with your watermark.

If you're happy with no animation then save as a Jpeg. If you wish to animate, lets continue.

Go to Edit/Copy merged. Open Animation Shop and paste as a new frame. Select your Paste After Current frame tool along your top menu. Click this continuously until you have a total of 13 layers.

Open the blood drops supplied with this tutorial. Hit CTRL A CTRL C. Return to your main tag. Hit CTRL A CTRL E. Position the blood droplets where you think they would look best eg. I am using a knife.

Keep the frames selected. Right click/frame properties. Slow this down to 20.

Save as a gif file.

We're done!!

Here's another example...this time I colourized the blood drops to be paint drops!
