“YOU'RE IN MY HEART” - “YOU'RE IN MY SOUL”

Everton Disabled Supporters Association (EDSA) would like to set the record straight (in more ways than one) It’s with reference to the transparent transfer for the rear window of your car which reads “You’re in my heart” “You’re in my soul” and has the Everton badge emblazoned in the middle of the writing.

Many Everton supporters have purchased these rear car window transfers as well as the mirror transfers on behalf of EDSA while others have only made enquires about them. Some were asking the question does the money go to Everton or to EDSA.

The transfers are sold on behalf of Everton Disabled Supporters Association which is a registered charity with the profits going to EDSA and not to EFC.
Why the Logo “You’re in my heart” “You’re in my soul” That is EDSA’s motto.

It is very warming to see so many Evertonians with this car transfer emblazoned across their rear window of their cars. May I take this opportunity to thank all Evertonians for their generous support. Oh! and for those of you who don’t know the Everton (EDSA) version of the Rod Stewart song then please find the words attached below.

The EDSA You’re in my heart - You’re in my soul car sticker can be purchased for £10 from the Everton Megastore at Goodison Park & at the Everton store in the city centre by Central Station.

They can also bought on Matchdays from the EDSA counter which is situated underneath the Park End..

YOU'RE IN MY HEART
( Rod Stewart & EDSA )

I didn't know what day it was
when I walked in, to the ground
I shouted hello &, here we go
It was the warmest, feelin I’ve found

Breezing through, the clientele
spinning yarns that were, so lyrical
I really must confess right here
the attraction, was purely physical

I took all those habits of yours
that in the beginning were, hard to accept
Your fashion sense &, Moyesy prints
I put down to experience

A fat Kopite, with a Dutch accent
he tried to change my, point of view
His ad lib lines were, well rehearsed
but my heart cried out for you

Chorus:
You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You be my breath, should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

My love for you, is immeasurable
My respect for you, immense
You're ageless, timeless, grace & fineness
You're beauty and, elegance

You're my harmony, my EFC
You're a beauty, when you play
You're every love, that had to be
That’s how much, you mean to me.

(Chorus)
You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You be my breath, should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul

You're an essay, in glamour
Please pardon, the grammar
but you're every, schoolboy's dream
You're Celtic, United, but baby, I've decided
You're the best team, I've ever seen

And there have been, many affairs
Many times I've, thought to leave
But I bite my lip and, turn around
'cause you're the warmest thing, I've ever found

(Chorus)
You're in my heart, you're in my soul

(Chorus) + (Chorus) + (Chorus)
