In 2000, The National College of Chiropractic changed its name to National University of Health Sciences. In adopting a university structure, and with a commitment to expanding degree offerings in health care fields, National now has three separate colleges:
- The College of Professional Studies - Overseeing the doctor of chiropractic medicine program, the doctor of naturopathic medicine program, and the oriental medicine and acupuncture degree programs.
- The College of Allied Health Sciences - Offering the massage therapy certification program and chiropractic assistant certification program, in addition to the bachelor of biomedical science degree and prerequisite program.
- The Lincoln College of Postprofessional, Graduate and Continuing Education - Overseeing all postgraduate course offerings including continuing education, residency programs, and master's degrees in diagnostic imaging and advanced clinical practice.
