2007 IIHF World Juniors

World Juniors

Canada dominated Slovakia in their final round robin game on Sunday, cruising to a 3-0 win en route to the semifinals. TSN's coverage of the 2007 world juniors continues with Sweden and the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals, Tuesday at 1:30pm et/10:30am pt.

Kris Russell's four goals in the world junior tournament are the most by a Canadian defenceman in one tournament. Russell's fourth goal in Sunday's 3-0 win over Slovakia moved him ahead of defencemen Bryan McCabe (1995), Wade Redden (1995), Jamie Rivers (1995), Gary Leeman (1984) and Fred Boimistruck (1981), who had three goals each.
