MOBILE PHONE THROWING WORLD RECORD STAYS IN FINLAND!!                   

The 7th international Mobile Phone Throwing World Championships took place in Savonlinna on Saturday the 26th of August.  The new champion is Lassi Etelätalo, Finland with result 89,00 m. In the Original individual category second was last year's champion Mikko Lampi with 87,17 meters and the third was Tomi Kurvi with a result of 80,20 meters.

The new worldchampion in the Women’s category is Eija Laakso with new world record 50,83 meters! The second was Sari Säisänen and the third Tilde Frölig from Sweden.

The winner of the Original team category is Ruoskat with a total result of 217,85 meters. The second was Ruskan Pasaus with 149,84 meters and the third "Emmä tiiä", 142,39 meters.

In the Junior category the winner Jere Selin threw 57,79 meters. Antti Aikio came second with 50,80 meters and third was Sami Mikkola, 38,45 meters.

FreeStyle

Last year's second, young Paavo Kolari won the Freestyle Individual category with his interesting style and original appearance; he received 12 points. The second was Elie Rusthoven with 10 points.

The champions of freestyle team category are the Swedish Team with 17 points. The second place went to Team Raikulipojat with total points of 15. Team Canada was third.
