2005-06 HIGHLIGHTS: Scored 19-58-77 with 64 PIM and was -5 in 81 GP. Scored points in 48 of 81 GP and was plus or even in 60 of 81 GP. Won bronze medal for Czech Republic in his Olympic debut. Scored 1-2-3 with 2 PIM and was even in 8 games at Torino. 1st on Oilers scoring list and is 1st in assists & 5th in goals. Led Oilers in multiple point games with 23. Tied for 33rd in NHL scoring race & was 10th in NHL with 58 assists. 15th in NHL powerplay scoring with 7-35-42 & 6th in PPA (35). Had a seven-game scoring streak (3-8-11; Dec. 31-Jan. 16) ended at San Jose (Jan. 19). Twice scored a career-high 1-3-4; at Nashville (Oct. 29) & vs Detroit (Nov. 17).
2004-05 HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoyed a productive season with HC Moeller Pardubice of the Czech Republic Extraleague卻cored 13-18-31 with 28 penalty minutes in 47 games to finish as the fifth leading scorer on Pardubice during the regular season卬amed playoff MVP as he helped Pardubice win the Extraleague championship by scoring a playoff leading 4-10-14 in 16 games厀as a member of the Czech Republic抯 world championship team, scoring 2-0-2 in seven games to help the Czechs claim the world title in Vienna.
