Browns win coin flip, pick 16th
NFL.com wire reports
BEREA, Ohio (March 18, 2002) -- The Cleveland Browns have their first victory of 2002.
Cleveland won a coin flip against the Atlanta Falcons and will
pick 16th in the first round of next month's NFL draft. Atlanta will choose
17th.
Both clubs finished last season with identical 7-9 records and their
opponents had the same composite records, requiring the flip.
The Browns will not have one of the first three picks for the first time in
four years. They had the No. 1 picks in 1999 and 2000 and drafted third last
year.
