The Livesey Collection

The Livesey Collection transferred to the University of Central Lancashire from the British National Temperance League in Sheffield in 1987. The collection was named in honour of Joseph Livesey of Preston, one of the early teetotal pioneers.

The Collection is housed in the Special Collections room on the second floor. All material is available for consultation on a reference only basis. During the evenings and at weekends material is not available unless by prior arrangement.

To use the Livesey Collection please call at the Special Collections room or contact Aidan Turner-Bishop in the Library.

The Livesey Collection is now accessible via the Library catalogue. Choose the option "Joseph Livesey" after entering your search terms.

If you have any questions about the Livesey Collection please contact Aidan Turner-Bishop.
