Primary school teachers from across Port Vila were into a one day cricket mode this week, at Independence Park.

A practical day was spent on the field catching up with cricket basics for new teachers. A busy session on bowling drills was watched under the eyes of the instructor as Indy Sport visited the site last Wednesday morning.

The ICC has announced the global winners of the ICC Development Program Awards 2004 with Namibia leading the way with two awards.
The judging panel could not separate two exceptionally strong candidates for the Lifetime Service Award, eventually opting to split the accolade between Zakir Hussain Syed and Mark Stafford.
