You have just found Kevin Ryan's OLD home page.

Kevin is an Assistant Professor at Showa Women's University, where he teaches courses that use computers for language learning (CALL). He has one of the best English teaching jobs in the world because his students are both interested and interesting.

He is past coordinator of the JALT CALL NSIG (Japan Association of Language Teaching, CALL National Special Interest Group. This year he is the editor of their newsletter, C@LLing Japan with 6 issues on line a year, and two in paper. He is also past president of the Tokyo PC User's Group.

Kevin also represents the NSIGs to the larger organization of JALT. This requires him to remain in contact with the national officers as well as the 12 SIGs that part of JALT.

Kevin came to Japan 14 years ago. He has also lived in Barcelona and Nanjing after growing up in the suburbs of Chicago.

His wife Maki and two daughters, Julia and Nicole, make life important.
