Veterans Day

2006 Veterans Day poster Veterans Day, celebrated each year on November 11, is the day America sets aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in our nation's military. It is our day to thank veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who served have sacrificed and done their duty. Veterans Day posters, information for teachers and students, the history of Veterans Day, and much more can be found on VA's Veterans Day Web page. (www.va.gov/vetsday/)
