MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT
 
For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity
at the risk of his life above and beyond
the call of duty in action against enemy
forces on 2 May 198 in the Republic of
Vietnam. His gallant actions uphold the
highest traditions of the Marine Corps and
the United States Naval service.
