In their debate on NBC's Meet the Press, Claire McCaskill showed Missouri voters that she will be a strong and independent voice for Missouri, Jim Talent failed to distance himself from his record of rubberstamping President Bush's failing agenda. A poll for KSDK-TV showed viewers thought McCaskill won the debate 47% to 37%.
