Fool For Love

A Fool For Love written by Bryan Ferry and Dave Stewart was written and recorded during the unreleased 'Alphaville' sessions. Bryan re-recorded the track with a completely different mood and arrangement after the Roxy Music tour in 2001. This new recording included original Roxy Music drummer Paul Thompson with Zev Katz & Chris Spedding, Julia Thornton & Sarah Brown from the Roxy Music 2001 band. The song was played live throughout the 'Frantic' tour.

Fool For Love hs also been re-recorded for a Mercedes advertisong campaign. The new version is to be the theme music for 'The Porter', a 12 minute short film which features Bryan Ferry acting the party of a diamond smuggler. This can be downloaded form 18th October. Details Here.

A Fool For Love is also released in France as a 'Promo Only' 1 track single to promote the Frantic album on French radio and also as a 2 track 'Promo Only' single in UK with One Way Love. Bryan performed the track on UK TV on the Jonathan Ross Show on 13th December and will also perform the song at The Vatican on 14th December to be broadcast 24th December 2002.
