| Montblanc Award for New Screenwriters |
The Jury of the MONTBLANC AWARD FOR NEW SCREENWRITERS at the 54th San Sebastian International Film Festival, has decided by a majority to grant its Award to:
“MEI MAN REN SHENG/SINGAPORE DREAMING”
for the screenplay by Yen Yen Woo and Colin Goh (Singapore)
San Sebastian, 29th September 2006
Within the framework of the San Sebastian International Film
Festival, MONBLANC is creating and sponsoring an award for best
first screenplay intended to promote and foster screenwriting.
All feature films selected by the San Sebastian International
Film Festival to compete for the New Directors award and featuring
on the Official Section or Zabaltegi programmes are eligible
for this award.
The MONTBLANC award carries €15,000 for the screenwriter
of the winning film.
