Maple Leafs sign D Holzer to one-year contract
The Toronto Maple Leafs signed defenceman Korbinian Holzer to a one-year contract late on Monday. The deal is reportedly a one-way deal, which means the Leafs likely expect Holzer to begin the season on Toronto's big league roster after the blueliner spent most of last season with the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
