EMILY’S LIST CANDIDATES WILL BE KEY IN TAKING BACK THE HOUSE
ABC News reports that the 2006 election may rival the 1992 election, which was dubbed the “Year of the Woman.” There are 34 Democratic women challenging male incumbents, and women have a good chance of winning 18 of those races. Analysts credit women candidates’ popularity to the fact that they are outside of the “old boy” network, making them more trustworthy leaders in this anti-war, scandal-ridden time.
