City Councillor Candidate
Marcel Tremblay, who was first elected in 2001, is the Mayor’s special advisor on cultural communities and vice-president of the Montreal Public Safety Commission. He has honoured all of his commitments: renovation of the Melrose tunnel, reorganization of Georges-Saint-Pierre park and its bocce court, and construction of a community centre in Saint-Raymond. He also created two career fairs. He has supported the cultural communities in their labour market integration and launched Montreal’s first inter-cultural festival.
Mr. Tremblay holds a degree in physical education from the University of Ottawa and a certificate in group education from École normale Jacques-Cartier.
