30 April 2004 - Eurofighter Flies Home

On 30 April, 2004, the first German Air Force Eurofighter service aircraft were welcomed by Fighter Wing (Jagdgeschwader) 73 "Steinhoff" (JG 73 ‘S’) to their operational base at Rostock-Laage in Northern Germany, for the first time. The event was attended by Chief of the German Air Force LtGen Klaus-Peter Stieglitz and Dr. Peter Eickenboom, Under-Secretary of State within the German Ministry of Defence
