Badger Fund

The Badger Fund serves as the fundraising arm of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics, funding the scholarship and facility needs of the 750 student-athletes who compete in 23 sports.

The UW Athletic Department receives no state tax dollars to fund its operating expenses. Instead, it is a self-sustaining program that relies on ticket sales, private gifts, sponsorships and conference revenues.

In order to maintain its standing as one of the finest intercollegiate sports programs in the nation, your support is necessary! By making an annual gift to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics, you become an active member in the Badger Fund. Donors to the Badger Fund can support areas such as the annual fund, facility projects and endowed scholarships. Please follow the links to the right on this page to learn more about how you can help the Badgers.

And remember…donors to the Badger Fund get first priority for opportunities like season tickets, post-season tickets, parking and special events.
