St. Louis Blues players Jamal Mayers and Bryce Salvador, along with the Blues organization and J.Buck's Restaurant, are pleased to announce a new program, Jam 'n Sal's Community Stars. The initiative recognizes area students in grades first through eight who perform an uncommon act of kindness or good deed within their school or community. A total of 110 students will be selected to attend a Blues home game during the 2002-03 regular home season. Each student will also receive a T-shirt and an opportunity to participate in a skating party with both players. Students may be nominated by a school teacher or administrator.

Fans have the opportunity to send a friend or family member a special birthday greeting during a Blues game for a donation of $25 to The Fourteen Fund, the Blues' charitable trust. The special wish is announced over the PA system and is displayed simultaneously on the Matrix Board. The "fan" receives a $10 gift certificate to the Blue Note Sports Shop delivered to their seat.
