This consultation is opened to:
- landscape architects (graduate from Schools, Universities or registered as member of FFP-Fédération Française du Paysage, EFLA-European Foundation for Landscape Architecture or any other equivalent institution for non-European countries).
- teams from multiple backgrounds such as architects, engineers, designers and artists. The team needs to include at least one landscape-architect.
- students from landscape or architecture schools, with a teacher representing the team.

Persons non-allowed to compete:
- those who made a garden for the festival during the last three years
- selection committee members and their relatives.

Guests:
The festival is allowed to invite guests to create a garden without competing.

- garden specs presents the theme in details as well as the technical constraints related to the design of a garden in Chaumont-sur-Loire (ground, exposure, visitors, plants...).
- contest rules fixes the course of the consultation and enumerates the rules of participation in the contest. You must enclose in a first envelope, the administrative documents in proof (legal statute and diploma or inscription with the FFP or the EFLA). The second envelope will contain the project of consultation, and will be opened only if the administrative parts are valid at the date of the opening of the folds.

Financing:
The tender includes no remuneration
Selected teams' remuneration and gardens budget amount will be available in tender file

Deadline for receiving gardens projects:
- November 6th, 2006 by noon
- November 20th, 2006 by 12 noon for Schools and Universities
