Had enough of Conor Oberst and Sufjan Stevens? Let's hope so, because Annuals is your new favorite band. The North Carolina indie rock troup broke into the Insound.com top 100 sellers list in early October, debuting at #41 and beating Bright Eyes by one spot. Opening slots on select Art Brut and Spinto Band gigs introduced the indie rock troupe to the blogger elite this spring while additional West Coast dates with Calexico, and shows in Dublin with the Flaming Lips continued to spread the word this winter. 'Tis the season to warm to Annuals!
