What is ATHENS ENSAM3 ?
The ATHENS organisation aims at promoting the exchange of students, during a few weeks each year, between its partners (Universities, Grandes Ecoles) across Europe. For more information, please refer to http://www.Paristech.org. The ENSAM is a partner of ATHENS.
For this one-week conference, ENSAM delegates to GIP RENATER the organisation of this cursus programme, in the context of the collaboration between RENATER and ENSAM.
Registration : this cursus is NOT publicly accessible. It is reserved to students who have registered (through their University or Institution). However, it is (publicly) broadcast over the Internet (see below).
What is this cursus ?
The ATHENS ENSAM3 cursus will be held at ENSAM in Paris from 14th to 18th, November 2005. It will be attended by about 30 students originating from technological institutes and "Grandes Ecoles" from France and Europe.
This one-week cursus is organised as a small conference with thematic one-day or half-day sessions. Speakers are experts from advanced networks, Universities and research labs. Their talks are delivered in English.

What is its programme ?
The programme deals with :
evolution of Internet technology and advanced networks, taking the Research Networks (the most advanced Internet networks) as examples,,
new or advanced applications, mainly in the scientific domain,
legal and security aspects.
Who are the organisers of this cursus ?
The programme of this conference is organised by GIP RENATER (the French Research Network) in partnership with Association Aristote.
It is coordinated by :
Jacques Prévost , scientific expert at GIP RENATER,
Didier Courtaud, Professor at University of Evry and President of Association Aristote.
