The company was founded on August, 2003.
Syhunt's CEO Felipe M. Aragao has spent 10 years in the security software
industry. Prior to founding Syhunt, Felipe served as security
consultant for Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a leading innovator in enterprise content security.
Before that he was a security consultant for Modulo Security Solutions.
Syhunt's first product is Sandcat, a web server security
assessment software. In 2004, Syhunt expanded its software with the release of a
web server hardening tool. With the help of customers and partners, the Sandcat
product was significantly enhanced during 2005.
Recently, Syhunt added a wide range of capabilities to the Sandcat suite and
simplified operation by combining the key applications into a single interface.
Today the Sandcat software is used in over 26 countries.
