A Message to Prospective Students
and their Parents

Welcome to the Episcopal Web site. I hope you find the information herein helpful as you consider the boarding school option, and I encourage you to call the Admissions Office directly at 877-933-4347 if you have any questions.

As the only major boarding school in the United States that is both "all boarding" and located in a metropolitan area, the Episcopal High School experience is truly unique. Our fully residential program encourages strong student-teacher relationships and a spirited sense of community. The academic program is rich with challenge and opportunities, and enhanced by frequent academic tours of and field work in Washington, DC. Moral and character education are lived everyday, supported by one of the nation's oldest secondary school honor codes and required chapel.

Our facilities are state-of-the-art and designed to provide extraordinary learning opportunities. They include new science (2005) and arts (2003) centers. And finally, a few words abour faculty: 70 men and women who are expert in their field and, more important, are committed to making sure each student reaches his potential.

Admission to Episcopal is highly selective, and the School seeks to enroll academically talented students of strong character who will, collectively, bring diverse talents and backgrounds to our community.

To begin the application process for entry in September 2007, I encourage you to request our admission materials, either by contacting the office or completing this online form. We look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Douglas C. Price
Director of Admissions
