Virtua Fighter 5 not exclusive anymore

The PlayStation 3 has been plagued with announcements of exclusive titles being swept away by other systems like the Xbox 360; Sega was going to release Virtua Fighter 5 only for the PS3 but that's now changed.

SEGA of America, Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced that the highly anticipated arcade fighting game, Virtua Fighter 5, will make its way onto the Xbox 360. Virtua Fighter 5 is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 in America and in Europe during late summer 2007. The game will also be released for the PlayStation 3 on February 20th, 2007 in North America and will be launched in europe with the system's launch in March 2007.

This is good news for 360 owners, but ps3 fanboys will choke. The ps3 has been losing many of its exclusives lately and users won't like to hear about Virtua Fighter 5 being one of these, ps3 fans r hoping this doesnt continue and the mgs4 rumours dont come true.

But, however this is also good for me, kinda, since now ill probably get this game for the 360, and the online in this game may make it better than the ps3 version.

Lets hope this doesnt continue cuz the ps3 cant win the console war if it loses all its killer exclusives.

Well i kno now there is a new game on my list, cuz i didnt wanna have to buy a ps3 to play this game. Virtua fighter 4 was incredible, hopefully this one can be the same. I havent seen any killer fighter games in a while, Dead or Alive 4 was alright and Mortal Kombat was ok but nothing recent has been awsome. Hopefully Virtua Fighter wont continue this trend. I kno xbox live will be fun to with this game, and maybe give it an advantage over the 360. Since the ps3 cant have any other advantage since i dont see how the tilting can be used in this game.

I also have some screens for you to sooth your eyes with.

I cannot wait for the new VF. IT was a staple in my childhood arcade gaming. Sigh. I have not gone to an arcade in about 5 years. When I look through the glass at malls though, the games are all oldschool. Like nothing has changed except for Dance Dance Revolution. I wonder if the console market has destroyed the arcade. They really haven't kept ahead of consoles at all.

damn 5 years!

well im glad now cuz i dont wanna have to buy a ps3 to play virtua fighter. microsoft is slowly gaining sonys games. first gta, then resident evil, UT, this game, and maybe some metal slug ports. and damn those screens r awsome!
