While the last season of the Super 12 was in progress we were commissioned by SANZAR (the joint federation of South African, New Zealand and Australian Rugby) to design the identity for the new tournament, the Super 14.
From the first meeting this southern hemisphere inspired design stood out, evoking the strength of the game in these three nations. The dynamic styling is a huge leap away from the old world crests of other codes, helping rugby position itself strongly in a vibrant, changing and growing youth market.
