2001-02: Named the North Central Conference Most Valuable Player and Newcomer of the Year ... earned Division II Bulletin first team All-America honors and NABC and Daktronics second team All-America honors ... named to the NCC Wells Fargo Finals All-Tournament team ... started all 29 games, leading the team in both scoring (21.7 ppg) and rebounding (7.9 rpg) while playing a team-high 29.9 minutes per game ... shot 53.3 percent from the floor, 51.9 percent from 3-point range and 75.5 percent from the free throw line ... finished second on the team in blocks with 12 and third in steals with 28 ... led the NCC in scoring at 21.5 points per game ... also finished fifth in rebounding (7.6 rpg), 11th in field goal percentage (.500) and 12th in blocked shots (0.56 bpg) ... scored in double figures in 27 of 29 games; scored more than 20 points in 18 games; scored over 30 points four times and over 40 points once ... hit 33 of 60 shots (.550) in UND’s three Wells Fargo Finals games, including 6 of 8 from 3-point range ... grabbed double-figure rebounds 11 times and led the NCC with 11 double-doubles on the season ... grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds in the Sioux’s overtime home win over Minnesota-Duluth (12/12/01) ... grabbed 14 boards on one occasion and 13 rebounds three times ... finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Kansas (12/22/02) ... scored a season-high 41 points in UND’s win over North Dakota State at Engelstad Arena (1/5/02) ... hit 16 of 26 shots in that game, including 2 of 2 from 3-point range ... 41-point effort tied for eighth-best single-game scoring output in UND history and was the most ever scored by a North Dakota player against the Bison ... scored 36 points against St. Cloud State in the Sioux’s overtime home win (1/18/02), including the 18-foot jump shot with five seconds remaining in regulation that sent the game into overtime and the dunk with 10 seconds left that sealed the win ... also scored 36 points at South Dakota State in the Wells Fargo Finals championship game (3/2/02).

Junior College: A transfer from Midland Junior College in Midland, Texas, where he played two seasons ... averaged 9.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for the Chaparals in 2001 ... MJC finished 24-9 in 2001 and advanced to the Region V championship game.

High School: A 1999 graduate of Moreno Valley High School ... averaged 19 points, 15 rebounds and four assists as a senior, leading MVHS to a 25-6 record ... a McDonald’s All-America candidate ... voted team’s Top Offensive Player.
