Our four age levels

Children experience games and adventures that are appropriate to their age. As youths, they can contribute their own ideas into group endeavors and projects.

"Wichtel" and "Wölflinge" (ages 7 - 10)

Brownies and Cubs learn by playing Our youngest members are called "Wichtel/Brownies" (girls) and "Wölflinge/Cubs" (boys). In a playful setting, they develop their young personality, while discovering their skills and talents.

Guides and "Späher" (ages 10 - 13)

Guides and Scouts gain experience Guides (girls) and "Späher/Scouts" (boys) assume responsibilities within a small team, recognizing their own qualities and contributing these to the group. The adventures they enjoy during outdoor camps and hikes, offer the girls and boys experiences that will leave a lasting impression on them.

Caravelles and Explorers (ages 13 - 16)

Caravelles and Explorers develop and mature Caravelles (girls) and Explorers (boys) gather together in small groups that reflect their personal interests. Contributing their own ideas, these young people work more and more independently as they plan and implement their projects.

Rangers and Rovers (ages 16 - 20)

Rangers and Rovers make their own decisions Rangers (girls) and Rovers (boys) focus on a broad variety of group projects which they have chosen on their own. They are preparing themselves for their future role as responsible, engaged members of society.
