The Merril Collection of Science Fiction, Speculation and Fantasy is located at:

239 College Street, 3rd Floor

The Merril Collection is a science fiction research collection belonging to the Toronto Public Library. It is housed on the third floor of the Lillian H. Smith Building. The Lillian H. Smith Building contains three separate branches of Toronto Public Library: the Lillian H. Smith Branch (Main and 2nd Floors), the Merril Collection (3rd Floor), and the Osborne Collection of Early Children's Books (4th Floor).

Hours:

Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and statutory holidays

 

Transit Information:

The Merril Collection is easily accessible by TTC. Take the subway to Spadina Station, then take the Spadina streetcar southbound to College Street. Walk one block east along College Street to Huron Street. The Merril Collection is at the corner of College and Huron Streets, on the third floor of the Lillian Smith Branch, at 239 College Street.

PARKING:

There is a limited amount of street parking available.
