We here at Ninty are running this special competition in conjunction with our new friends at techsplosion.co.uk. What we are offering is the chance to win a Nintendo Wii and Wii Sports bundle in time for Christmas! All you have to do is tell us why do you want a Wii. We dont want no essays! Just 20 words max! Start your entry off like this "I want a Wii because..." You can post you entry here at Ninty in this very topic; you can only post once, but you can go back and edit your entry as many times as you like until you think you have perfected it. You can likewise do the same on techsplosion's forums; however you are only allowed to enter once on EITHER of the forums. Though you must be registered on BOTH sets of forums to be eligible to win. Between us here at Ninty and the staff at techsplosion, we are going to choose our top five favourite entries, then we'll ask you to decide for the favourite in a poll. Competition Rules 1. All entries must be in by Midnight GMT on Tuesday 12th December 2006. 2. We will select our 5 favourite entries by Thursday 14th December and start the poll. 3. Voting poll closes Midnight GMT on Monday 19th December 2006. 4. Winners prize will be delivered between Wednesday 20th - Friday 22nd December 2006. 5. You can post your entries on either ninty.net or on techsplosion.co.uk 6. You must be a registered user of BOTH forums.ninty.net and techsplosion.co.uk/forum in order to qualify for the prize draw. 7. This competition is not open to any Techsplosion or Ninty staff or their families. As techsplosion only stock the UK PAL Nintendo Wii and only ship to Mainland UK, we are unable to guarantee delivery to any competition winners from outside the UK mainland. In the event that the competition winner should be based outside the mainland UK, we will fulfill his or her prize through one of our fellow Nintendo dealers who is based locally to the winner. Where this is not possible, we will offer sufficient prize money (payable by PayPal) for the winner to purchase one at their chosen local retailer.

We'll see... depends if Nintendo give us any free "samples" of anything - if they do, we'll do some runner's up prizes.... at the moment a box of kleenex sounds like a more appropriate prize than a Wii.... they'll have 2 uses:

1) The ultimate accessory for the Wii remote that rabbit started playing with when the playstation got released

2) Useful to mop up the tears of anyone else who was emotionally touched by that poem!


By the way, it's my b'day today and Ninty never even sent me a bloody e-mail!
